CBRC donates 400 improvised face shields to San Lazaro Hospital
One of the difficulties that arise when the outbreak of the CoVID-19 pandemic happened was the limited supplies of personal protective equipment (PPEs) including facemasks and sanitizers. Various hospitals and medical professionals seek the public to help them with their supplies of PPEs.
Dr. Carl E. Balita Review Center (CBRC) heeds to the call. Led by Dr. Carl Balita, President and CEO, with his wife, Dr. Lyne Balita, CBRC distributed 400 face shields at the San Lazaro Hospital in Sta. Cruz, Manila on April 4, 2020.
The face shields, made of thick laminating film and rolled foam sheets, were produced in two days by the Balita family and several CBRC personnel.
Mary Joy M. Javier of San Lazaro Hospital was grateful to CBRC for the said assistance.
